Hello and Welcome, I’m Brad Osborn
For three decades, I have walked alongside individuals and families navigating some of the most challenging chapters of their lives. My work is grounded in honesty, compassion, and the belief that healing begins with connection.
I aim to create a space where you can slow down, breathe, and rediscover the clarity and strength that have always been inside you. Whether you are facing substance use issues, emotional overwhelm, or the ripple effects within your family, you do not have to carry it alone.
This is a place where real conversations happen, where change is possible, and where hope can take root again.
Meet Clarity: A Quiet Companion on the Journey
Everyone I work with, whether in person or online, eventually meets Clarity. She is my Husky, but she is also something more, a calm and steady presence woven naturally into the rhythm of my work and my life.
Clarity came into my world when my granddaughter and I visited the Southwest Washington Humane Society in Vancouver. At the time, I was adjusting to life in Portland after many years in the mountains of Colorado’s Roaring Fork Valley, and she made that transition remarkably easier. Her grounded spirit, loyalty, and warmth brought a sense of home with her.
Her name comes from a personal mantra I have tried to live by: “In Search of Clarity and Love in My Heart.” She represents the qualities that guide my practice, patience, grounding, and the simple honesty animals often understand better than we do.
Clarity continues to walk beside me as part of my life and part of the work. Clients often say she brings warmth into the room just by being there, a reminder that healing does not always need words. In many ways, she becomes part of your story as well.
What I Do
I am an experienced recovery counselor and coach, supporting individuals and families navigating mental health challenges, substance use, and the impact of traumatic life experiences. I am a certified Mindfulness in Recovery facilitator through the Mindful Life Program, an ARISE Interventionist, and have completed formal training in the in the CRAFT – Community Reinforcement and Family Training model of substance use treatment, and the EAGALA model of Equine-Assisted Therapy. These approaches allow me to integrate evidence-based tools with grounded, relational work that supports the whole person. Over the years, I have witnessed how powerful family healing can be when recovery is approached holistically. When we honor the self-determination of each individual affected by mental health struggles, substance use, domestic stress, and the traumas that follow, we create room for genuine change. The work becomes collaborative, steady, and deeply human, opening pathways for everyone involved to move toward recovery, clarity, and connection.
