About

Brad Osborn

Hello and Welcome, I’m Brad Osborn

For three decades, I have walked alongside individuals and families navigating some of the most challenging chapters of their lives. My work is grounded in honesty, compassion, and the belief that healing begins with connection.

I aim to create a space where you can slow down, breathe, and rediscover the clarity and strength that have always been inside you. Whether you are facing substance use issues, emotional overwhelm, or the ripple effects within your family, you do not have to carry it alone.

This is a place where real conversations happen, where change is possible, and where hope can take root again.

About Clarity: A Quiet Companion on the Journey

Clarity the Husky

Clarity was more than my Husky, she was a quiet companion, a grounding presence, and a part of the heart of my work and life. She came into my world during a period of transition, when I was finding my footing in Portland after years in the mountains of Colorado. From the beginning, she brought a sense of steadiness and home that I didn’t fully realize I needed. She walked beside me in every sense, through daily life, through my work, and alongside the families I had the privilege of supporting.

Her name came from a mantra I have tried to live by: “In search of clarity and love in my heart.” And in many ways, she lived that better than I ever could. She had a quiet way of being present, patient, and honest, qualities that shaped not only my life, but the space I try to hold for others.

We lost Clarity to an aggressive cancer on January 30, 2026. She faced her final nine months as a tripod with the same grace and steadiness she brought to everything. In our six years together, we traveled, hiked, played, and spent countless simple moments that now feel deeply meaningful.

Clients often told me that her presence alone changed the room, that she brought warmth, ease, and something unspoken but important. I believe that’s because she carried something pure: a reminder that connection and healing don’t always come through words.

I still feel her with me. In the quiet moments, in the work, and in the way I try to show up. In many ways, her spirit continues to shape this space, and I trust that, in time, she may become part of your story too.

What I Do

I am an experienced recovery counselor and coach, supporting individuals and families navigating mental health challenges, substance use, and the impact of traumatic life experiences. I am a certified Mindfulness in Recovery facilitator through the Mindful Life Program, an ARISE Interventionist, and have completed formal training in the in the CRAFT – Community Reinforcement and Family Training model of substance use treatment, and the EAGALA model of Equine-Assisted Therapy. These approaches allow me to integrate evidence-based tools with grounded, relational work that supports the whole person. Over the years, I have witnessed how powerful family healing can be when recovery is approached holistically. When we honor the self-determination of each individual affected by mental health struggles, substance use, domestic stress, and the traumas that follow, we create room for genuine change. The work becomes collaborative, steady, and deeply human, opening pathways for everyone involved to move toward recovery, clarity, and connection.
